Netflix is Now Exclusively Blu Ray

I received an e-mail today from Netflix™ notifying me that I would no longer be able to rent Hd Dvd's because they are going to go exclusively with the Blu Ray format. The worlds largest online movie rental service has now backed Blu Ray, when will Hd Dvd throw in the towel? Hopefully it is sooner rather than later, so we can start seeing all of our favorite movies, tv shows, and documentaries on Blu Ray. I will leave you with the E-mail that I received from Netflix™, and say that hopefully this format massacre is over soon.

Ipod Touch 32Gb and Iphone 16gb

Today Apple unleashed the brand new 32Gb ipod touch. The New ipod touch also introduces new apps including Mail,Maps,Weather,Notes, and Stocks just like on the iphone. You may say oh so what it has more disk space and a few more apps, but thats not where I am going with this article. Apple also announced today the 16Gb iphone which is a big step this foreshadows a 32gb model with 3G capabilities. Apple never ceases to amaze me with how frequently they upgrade there products, it can be good and bad. All I know is I am happy with my 8Gb iphone for now and will be holing out for a 32Gb one with 3G which I believe to be on the way in the near future.

Today was the second day of the Active Lifestyle Expo in Huntington Beach so over here at OcMinute we decided to go check it out. Track Tigers at the Discovery Scienece Center

,The exhibit "Tigers: Tracking a Legend" has officially opened today at the Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana. There are no live Tigers in the exhibit space, but visitors can do numerous things like learn about the physics behind a tiger bite, and try to mimic there growls and roars along with numerous other things.

Filmmaker Carol Amore spent years studying tigers in the wilds of India and, in 2001, spent six months following a tigress and her cubs. In the years since, she has produced a film about her experiences, then a book, and finally the traveling exhibit.

The Folino Theater at Chapman University will host a free screening at 7 p.m. Friday of Amore's one-hour documentary, also called "Tigers: Tracking a Legend." The theater is at 283 N. Cypress St. in Orange.

"If you help someone care," Amore said, "then they have already taken the biggest step toward conservation."

The tiger exhibit is making its world premiere at the Discovery Science Center and will be open there until early May. Admission to the center includes the exhibit and costs $12.95 for adults and $9.95 for children up to 17 years old.

The science center is at 2500 N. Main St. in Santa Ana.
